General

General Section has been part of this institution since its inception, offering instruction in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Engineering Graphics, Physical Education to students. It is devoted to foster the understanding of basic scientific principles.

In this section faculties of Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics and English are deputed from various government colleges under the Department of Collegiate Education. The Department of Technical Education has included these subjects in the diploma course in order to make the students grasp the essentials of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Communicative English as these are the preliminaries of technical subjects.  Engineering Graphics and Physical Education are part of the curriculum because of its key role in the technical field and physical fitness.
